Fall 2013 readings in the Community and World Literary Series at CSU San Marcos

Nov 7 at 7 pm: Jake Hinkson

All readings are held in the Grand Salon (room 113) of the Gordon M. Clarke Field House.

Stephen Graham Jones is a Blackfeet novelist working in experimental fiction, horror fiction, crime fiction, and science fiction. He is the author of thirteen novels and three collections. His two most recent books are Flushboy and Zombie Sharks with Metal Teeth. Up soon are The Least of my Scars and The Gospel of Z

D. Seth Horton is a fiction writer and critic who holds an MA from the University of Virginia and an MFA from the University of Virginia.  He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Maryland.  His work has appeared and is forthcoming in numerous journals, including Glimmer Train, Bellingham Review, Regarding Arts and LettersReview Americana, and Nano Fiction.  He has edited or co-edited five anthologies; the latest is Road to Nowhere and Other New Stories from the Southwest, which the University of New Mexico Press published this June.

Jake Hinkson is the author of the novel Hell On Church Street and the novella The Posthumous Man. Hinkson is a regular contributor to the film journal Noir City and writes about crime film and fiction for Macmillan’s website Criminal Element. His short fiction has been published in anthologies such as BEAT TO A PULP (2010) and LEE (2013), and his essays on film have appeared in Bright Lights Film Journal and in anthologies such as FILM NOIR: THE DIRECTORS (2012). He currently lives in Red Bank, New Jersey. He blogs regularly at TheNightEditor.blogspot.com
